Community guidelines
A few simple rules that keep Polyurea Forum useful for everyone.
The short version
Be helpful, be respectful, and keep it about polyurea and the coatings business. That covers 95% of it.
1. Respect everyone
Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, harassment and discrimination are not allowed. New applicators are welcome here, so answer beginner questions the way you wish someone had answered yours.
2. Post in the right place
Pick the forum that fits best and use a clear title like “Pinholes over new concrete, pure polyurea, 60°F slab” instead of “Help!!”. Off-topic conversation goes in Shop Talk.
3. Give the details
For troubleshooting, include the substrate, material and system, proportioner settings, ambient and substrate conditions, and photos.
4. Safety first
Do not recommend practices that put applicators or the public at risk. Always follow the manufacturer’s technical data sheet, SDS and local regulations. Advice on this forum is shared by members and is not a substitute for manufacturer guidance.
5. No spam
Manufacturers, distributors and dealers are welcome to share expertise. Promotional posts, ads and affiliate links belong in the Marketplace only. Unsolicited private messages selling products are not allowed.
6. Marketplace etiquette
Include price, condition and location. Polyurea Forum does not verify sellers or handle payments, so use common sense and protect yourself.
7. Close the loop
When your problem is solved, post what fixed it. That is how the forum becomes the best polyurea knowledge base on the internet.
Moderators may edit, move or remove posts that break these guidelines. Repeat offenders may lose posting privileges.
